Hail/God is the Greatest Artist
Weather is interesting in Wyoming. It's very dry here, and the summers typically bring thundershowers and a handful of horrendous storms, which sometimes serve as the only source of precipitation. Sometimes it seems like whenever people pray for water, God responds by sending unseasonal snow or spiky balls of death. Gentle rainstorms are almost unheard of.
A few hours ago, a tornado passed through Platte County, dumping hail, which in turn shredded trees, ruined the strawberry patch, and broke several car windows. Despite being destructive, they are truly exquisite, and my family spent an hour after the storm looking for the biggest and prettiest ones. These were some of our favorite finds.
